Is that like "imitating" your own posts on your "nom de plume?"  :cheesy:

Here we are again, the topic is supposed to be about the Denial of Australian Pension, yet here you are again.

Please try to refrain from posting stuff that has nothing to do with the topic.

Surprised the MODS haven't given you a left hand across the futsa.

If it takes you 11 days to come up with a nonsensical response, the mind boggles at how long a rational one would take you.

Unlike yourself, and your many "nom de plumes" I have a life outside AN.

I sign in occasionally to debunk inaccurate posts, many of which are yours.

Your post is off topic.

This thread is about the denial of the old aged pension.

Please stay on topic.

The vast majority of your posts are on the single Chicken Little theme, debunked multiple times by reality. It's called monomania.

I have only ever had two nom de plumes on TV/ASEAN, wrong yet again.

If you have a life outside ASEAN, IMO it would be a sad one.

I see, a post attacking me is on topic. And you talk about hypocrisy.

You continually bang on about my 400 posts on the possible / probably effect of tax residency on pensions, yet 399 of your posts are trolling, baiting, and personal attacks on me.

Deal with it and move on.

If you can find 399 posts of mine attacking you, I will bare my bum in the middle of Bangkok.

There's probably 40 or 50 posts of mine which are in response to your harping and carping.

Thanks for demonstrating yet again how accomplished you are at exaggeration.

Breach of forum rules.

I don't know that it is, if the nom de plumes are sequential, not concurrent. Bring out the tar and feathers if it makes you feel better.

BTW, how many times have you breached forum rules by repetitive posting and off topic?

A lot more than that, but in any case, just like this post, off topic, trolling, baiting, stalking, and a personal attack.  You add ZERO value to the discussion.

I can't remember the last time you contributed anything to the topic, or even posted a link.

Can't you read? Sequential accounts are not multiple.

I can't remember anything you posted that was not relentlessly negative.

You're the one banging on about my post account, yet, YOU, with multiple and sequential accounts, have way more posts them me.

As usual, off topic, trolling, baiting, stalking, personal attack, with absolutely ZERO content towards the thread.

Can you post some content, or is it too difficult for you?

You are not trolling and baiting me now? Get lost.

@Michael Howells  Hi Mate - happy to give you some advice - I know a lot about this issue - a few questions if I may.

How long before your 'eligibility' date did you arrive in Australia.

How much did you tell CLink about your marriage and your wife.

Have you 'officially' married (Aust Embassy etc.) or is it a Thai marriage only.

Where are you living now - renting - with a friend/family.

Do you have Aust bank accounts and licence or any other official ID besides Passport.

Do you have Superannuation etc. - what is your source of funds (banks).

Those questions will impact a lot on what you will have to do now.

You will probably not win the appeal - depending on your answers.

That advice (bring wife over) is actually good advice - I will explain more when you answer.

Do you?  Really?  :cheesy:

Got this one and all the other questions and attacks that you posted.

What a great way to ask someone for advice/information NOT.  Sounds like you just want to argue and insult. I am not interested.

Go and get and pay for professional advice if you want - up to you.

Here is the links - knock yourself out - no help from me.

Social Security Act 1991 (legislation.gov.au)

Using the Social Security Guide | Social Security Guide (dss.gov.au)

Federal Register of Legislation - Australian Government

Australians living overseas | Australian Taxation Office (ato.gov.au)

I will provide this additional 'help' and only this help.

Taxable Centrelink payments - Age Pension - Services Australia

What that means is that if you get the Pension AND other income that is taxable, the amount of taxes you pay are calculated on the other income with the pension included in the total - so that you will be over the tax free threshold.  Understand?  If you dont I dont care.

The information and advice I provide is worth how much you paid for it - I will refrain from ever doing that again.

You have posted many links, which contain pages and pages of information.

You have stated pensions are tax exempt, regardless of geographic location.  You stated it's in the act.

Can you quote the relevant clause that sets this out?

Blake from the ATO doesn't seem to agree with you.  Maybe you can set him straight.
