but not all of them are excessive consumers of alcohol or vociferous opponents of cannabis,  As far as I am concerned no drinker of alcohol has the right to claim the moral high ground over the consumer of any drug.

I suggest you don't go along with people who 'guarantee' without proof or reference. Use of the word vociferous in that context is more than questionable. 

I was watching a talk by Jordan Peterson on You-tube a few days ago.. The "anti-woke" and "take responsibility for your own actions" guy.

 

He would like to ban alcohol..again. He says more than half of sexual offenders are drunk when they offend.. and about 50% of victims of sexual assault are drunk.

 

Those are "sobering" statistics.
