Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul strongly advocates for the continuation of the current medical cannabis policy under the incoming health ministership. He asserts that, if used correctly, cannabis provides immense benefits to users.

 

This discussion took place at the Public Health Ministry, where he expressed confidence that the new government would not terminate the ‘cannabis for medical treatments’ policy. He also highlighted that the policy is still on the new government’s agenda, as per the leader of the ruling Pheu Thai Party.

 

Anutin emphasised that any changes to the policy should first be deliberated among government members.

“The best thing we can do is have a law to control cannabis use.”

Anutin proposed that if the new government plans to re-list cannabis as a narcotic, the decision should involve discussions among related agencies, including the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice, among others.

I never realised there were so many sick people requiring weed shop every 50-100 meters in each direction. Have higher chance to see weed shop before you see 7-11. 
it’s a good thing all the sick people have a “clinic “ readily available on every corner ????

That's very true. We don't know if there's a medical reason for them smoking cannabis or how many that applies to. But neither do you.

I'm not much of a pot smoker, but a couple of puffs before bed sure helps me fall asleep faster and sleep longer.

Did someone piss in your cereal this morning? 

I dislike this guy, and feel he failed miserably when it came to Covid, the vaccination drive, the choice of the lowest efficacy vaccine on the planet, the highly selective shutdowns, etc. I could go on. But, I think he is on the right side of history when it comes to cannabis. For once, he is right. Like Anutin, the war on drugs has failed, miserably.

No need to check accuracy, he obviously doesnt use, so naturally, just like all the others, he is an expert on the subject.
