What you want us all dead.

Dear oh dear.

You need a fist full of Viagra, and an afternoon down soi 6.

Your be fine after that.

Oh Dear!

Is that the total sum of all human knowledge that you would want to pass on to other life forms .

Is this what space exploration is all about?

So Sad

You wanted us all dead in your last post.

What a sad selfish individual you are.

You and your type missed there calling a few years back.

Heaven's Gate, I think it was called.

Feel free to start a new one, with the same out come.

and let the people of this world grow with out your kind. :bah:

What's your point?

The stratosphere is the coldest part of the atmosphere. At its coldest, it's about 190 degrees Kelvin. That's a far cry from 60 degrees Kelvin.

My point? OK. Well we don't live and breathe in the stratosphere. Humans have evolved in the troposphere, the closest layer of the atmosphere to the earth's surface, at the lowest altitudes , where all breathable air plus all livable temperatures for us exist. My point is that, without the atmosphere as it is, we would not have evolved as humans, at all.

What's that got to do with the fact that the temperature of 60 degrees Kelvin would be compatible with life, which, after all, depends on chemical reactions.

How (on earth ????) do you know that as a fact?

By the way, the coldest temperatures in Earth's atmosphere are in the mesosphere, at about -90° C

Not only is our Earth small in the vastness of the whole Universe, the area we can inhabit on the Earth makes our very existence very vulnerable.

We can only exist in the narrow band of atmosphere that surrounds the Earth. We cannot exist under water or higher than a few thousand feet in the air.

And what are we doing with this tiny, tiny fraction of livable space? Fighting and destroying our very existence.

I sincerely hope the human race becomes extinct before we have the technology and the means to poison other worlds with our "lifeform"

If there are other lifeforms in the universe capable of reaching planet earth, I expect they will be keeping watch over us, poised to exterminate us if we ever seem capable of traveling to other solar systems.

Our toxic brand of life is not welcome elsewhere.

Want or not, seems to me that humanity is well on the way to making itself extinct with pollution, overpopulation etc.

Only insane species poop in their own nests.

We will still be here in years to come.

and spreading out to the next planet to live on.

I don't buy into the resent, we are all gonna die mindset.

But feel free to do so yourself, if you feel the need.

This narrow-angle color image of the Earth, dubbed 'Pale Blue Dot'.  Taken by Voyager 1 distance of more than 4 billion miles from Earth.

From this distant vantage point, the Earth might not seem of any particular interest. But for us, it's different. Consider again that dot. That's here, that's home, that's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there on the mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

Yes , lonely planet ...

But if you increase the distance by some light years , it looks like this ...

All these are suns , many have planets ...

Who believes that we are alone in Universe ...?

Yes , my friend , some people just do not care about why all this exists ...

But it does , and what do you think is the reason for it's existence  ...?

The purpose of existence ?

The answer to this will be theoretical , a theory ... but there is a reason , so what is it , what do you think ...?

I may discover the reason after I die and return to the creator, but there are no burning bushes where I live so I can't answer that.

Nobody can . I tried ChatGPT , but the answer was not satisfying .

I think there is a fifth dimension that we are not able to see or measure , as it is spiritual . ( dark matter , dark energy ...? )

A spiritual dimension where the spirit goes to when the body dies .

I had a near death experience once , my heart stopped beating for some moments , I realized that something serious was wrong , that the ' biological machine ' that is my body , had a problem .

The body is just a machine that we keep in good condition , or not .

No fear !

Death is NOT the end . When the body dies , the spirit is set free .

It is a liberation , nothing to be scared of .

Sing it .

When death comes to visit you . just laugh if you had a life before ...

Their spirit returns to the creator, just like ours do. Our bodies are just a biological transport machine for "us". Bodies die, the spirit is eternal.

You talk about their bodies ... the answer is obvious and you answered it already , Their bodies go into your body if you eat it .

Their little spirits  go to ...?

I like to believe this .

If the spirit is eternal , it was already there before the ' big bang ' created the universe .

The spirit is the creator ?

Another theory is that the big bang that liberated an enormous amount of matter in an ' explosion ' , was just the contents of a black hole that compressed the matter accumulated in it to such an amount that it could not be compressed any further ...

There are many black holes ... may be there are many Universes ...?

Multiverse , another theory ...

Where is " God " in all this ?

Everywhere .

BTW, looking at what is going on with the human race now, one sometimes wonders if intelligent life exists on planet earth.

On the grand scale of things, it’s irrelevant. Because earth is a farm planet that the aliens propagated and when harvest time comes, at whatever mass bio weight is expected then they will haul the planet out to deep freeze for storage. Then when they get low on resources and hungry they will begin the thawing process.
