A few passengers suffered minor injuries and many trains were suspended. At 5:48 AM, on September 30th, 2023, the express train number 13 Krungthep Aphiwat (Central Terminal Station)-Chiang Mai was derailed off the rail in Phrae province. The entire train capsized off the railway due to what authorities said were continuous heavy rains for a few days. Rotweiler Posted October 4, 2023 Share Posted October 4, 2023 The tracks are/were fine; the ballast seems to have been shifted by the flood and that shifted the sleepers as well.
