Windows Xp Corporate

Featured Replies

I went to The local "copy" store and noticed all their Win XP's were Corporate editions, right up to 2007.

I just have a regular service pack 2, 2006, but have problems, so need to upgrade or re install. I don't have my original CD handy right now, so can I install the Corporate version? Or would I have to wipe my drives clean (format) first?

Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Ta, Steve

If you have a "legitimate" product key for the corporate edition, you can "swap out" the old product key with the Windows XP Product Key Modifier

Sorry, Rice King, I don't think I made myself clear...

I have an XP version already installed, but I can only open in safe mode. I don't have the disk handy, so would I be able to repair with a newer version of XP? Is the corporate version any different to the normal XP pro? Thanks

You can't use a corporate Version for to repair a public version of XP! To repair, you'll need to have the same version as the installed one.
