To Stay Alone; In Thai Language

I'm guessing that "shop e salah" is ชอบอิสระ in which case, no it's not rude but the meaning would be more like "to enjoy being independent/free/not tied down" than "to stay alone".

Does one use "?????" for financially independent?

Edit:And now I see my Thai script comes out in ? marks. Any advice...I wrote the "isara" in Thai....

and ps: I believe there's a keyboard shortcut to switch from Thai to English (I'm on MAC)....what is it please anyone?
