webfact Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) ordered an investigation into allegations of misconduct and corruption against two former senior staff of Wat Suthiwararam School. Today, Niwatchai Kasemmongkol, the Secretary-General of the NACC, revealed that the Commission had identified wrongdoing linked to public service misconduct against Kongwut Paibulsilp, the former school director, and Laddawan Kowajareon Tham, the former deputy director. The accusations revolve around the misuse of donations from students’ parents during the 2008 academic year for personal gain and the unauthorised withdrawal of funds from various school accounts. After the announcement of successful entrance examination students in 2008, parents of unsuccessful students expressed a desire to support the school through donations. However, the funds, ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 baht per student, were not officially received. by Nattapong Westwood Picture courtesy of World Orgs Full story: The Thaiger 2023-10-23 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. brianthainess Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 So 15 yrs on and past the statue of limitations and still spending time and money to try and prosecute under another law. Properly cost more than 1.2m to do that.
Popular Post Bangkok Barry Posted October 23, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 23, 2023 However, due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for the offence blah blah blah... I don't understand this statute of limitations business. A crime has been committed, but then it doesn't matter and the guilty gets off scot-free. The prime example, of course, is the Red Bull fugitive. Just hide until the crime doesn't matter anymore. 2 1
trainman34014 Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Thai Parents only have themselves to blame; too ready to hand of Cash thinking the recievers will 'favour' their Children. Wife has two Schoolteachers in her Family and they are constantly going home with 'gifts' from Kids Families, many who can't afford to even feed their own Kids properly !
