Looking for advice on a combating mosquitos with chemicals. I am considering a combination of Pyriproxyfen and Bifenthrin for a half rai garden using a backpack agricultural sprayer. Plus mosquito dunks.  Not interested in organic, home remedies. In Nakhon Nayok with no neighbours.

Lazada Has insecticide' dilutes to about 1 table spoon I liter water from memory, will even kill ticks.  can also be used in a fog machine mixed with Kerosene.

Whre exactly are the mosquitoes coming from? Have you found larvae in pools of water lying around? Perhaps old basins and pots, or even tree trunks that hold water? If you can find them, even empty the water out or use bti. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacillus_thuringiensis_israelensis

Spray/thermal fogging of adult mosquitoes won't stop the problem. You need to find the breeding sites of the mosquitoes. Hopefully they will be on your property and not someone elses, so you can deal with it.

I would be inclined to use a fogger & spray around the perimeter

You can control inside the property by ensuring no standing still water.

The fog needs spraying every 8 days unless it rains, then need to redo.

That's an interesting solution - what kind of fog machine would be used?

Many types are available, google is your friend, my neighbor uses a backpack type with a small petrol engine, it is very loud and it drifts onto my land, all the tree insects then come onto my land and the birds that usually eat them piss off too.

1/2 a  rai you shouldn't need one. we have 1 rai and use a large hand sprayer, or the backpack type are fine. if you keep the grass/weeds low about 3 times a year is ample IMO

So having a pool in a house or garden automatic water sprinker attract mosquitos...

If the water is continually agitated then the mosquitoes cannot breed there. The wife's family had this problem 20 years ago when they had mosquitoes breeding in the large bathroom basin. I asked them to let the water drip slowly but continually. Now they have no mosquitoes breeding there. They dont like laying eggs on the surface of moving water.

As kids we had those chaps come over and spray DDT all over that was the big thing at time but really lethal. But even after the spray outdoors, we had to wait for a day or 2 before it was considered safe.

So if you leave say a washing machine unattended and unused for a year, it can be a nest ?

Any pooled or standing water (which isn't treated with chlorine etc) can provide a breeding ground for Mosquitos.

Thus, if an unused washing machine has water in it (with no detergent etc) then it could be an ideal breeding ground... If no water, then not.

I would pour in white vinegar or some sort of baking soda perhaps in the dishwasher and the washing maching if left unused for a long time.
