I'd like to be able to send music from my PC to my old (10 year) stereo and the only way to do that is via a bluetooth receiver. There's a plethora of them for sale on Lazada but I have no idea if they are any good. Anyone use one?

Tried one of those couldn't get the PC to pair with it.

Does your PC not have an audio output? So use a cable. Much better than a 20 baht receiver.

I bought a  UGREEN receiver off Lazada for about Bht 4300. Works perfectly from my Firestick into some 30 year old M Audio self powered speakers. . If your PC doesn't have Bluetooth, a USB dongle is less than Bht100.

I prefer not to have a cable running 4 metres across the floor to the stereo. My PC has Bluetooth, my 10 year old stereo doesn't.

Was power provided to the receiver?  The audio input channel on the stereo will not provide power to run the receiver. 

 

Or your PC is already paired with another device.

I plugged the cheapie I bought into the USB port on the stereo, so not sure where I should connect to get power.

Plug this into a USB charger and then connect to your 3.5 plug on the Stereo.🤔
