BANGKOK (NNT) - The Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has issued a crucial notice to Thai citizens in Israel, highlighting their last opportunity for an organized evacuation.

Following this announcement, concerns have arisen regarding whether the Thai government will continue to arrange flights for those who wish to return to Thailand at a later date.

Government Spokesperson Chai Watcharong has disclosed that there will be a change in the evacuation plan after November 2nd. Instead of using charter flights, the government will consider commercial flights based on the number of evacuees. If the number of people wishing to return is low, chartering an entire flight may not be feasible.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin emphasized the government’s commitment to facilitating suitable flights for Thai citizens who wish to return. He also mentioned that he will be engaging in further discussions with the Israeli Prime Minister in the near future.

Amid the ongoing conflicts in Israel, marked by missile attacks from Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, the overall situation remains tense. The Israeli Prime Minister has declared that operations against Hamas will persist, including airstrikes and ground operations.

Regarding Thai citizens in Israel, the statistics show that 32 have lost their lives, 19 are injured, with six currently hospitalized. Additionally, 22 individuals have been taken hostage by Hamas.

And never set foot back there mainly. Far to much trouble for innocent civilians all with the support of the US. Even foreign ournalists have  been shot by the Israeli army like the lady reporting from Al Jazeera not to mention any others. At the end of the day the Russians in Ukraine are not the worst.

Hamas invaded Israel to start this war.

Russia invaded Ukraine to start the war there.

You may as well have been honest and said you hate Israel and I

the USA and have a soft spot for Putin.

I agree that for at least the immediate future recruiting Thai workers to go to Israel will be a hard sell.

???? You mean that this excerpt from the above article "Regarding Thai citizens in Israel, the statistics show that 32 have lost their lives, 19 are injured, with six currently hospitalised. Additionally, 22 individuals have been taken hostage by Hamas." is the deed of Israelis ???? Unless these  victims were on Palestinian grounds, hence caught in a crossfire, or even fell under the attacks of the Israeli army, I do not see how that would be possible

Now, the fact that they would not want to return to Israel might be correct but certainly not based on your "insight"of the situation

Kindly note that I am not debating with you, therefore not expecting nor wanting a reply from you, as I am just stating the obvious

The UN has clearly declared that Israel is committing war crimes following the brutal and cowardly bombing of a refugee Camp.

But obviously some claim to know better then the UN. And dare if you criticize the US or Israeli policy as that makes you naturally anti US  or anti Israel ??

No wonder there is trouble all over with such absurd ideas from a minority. What about the millions of americains who do not agree with the policy of the kings in Washington ? Same in Israel by the way.

This is not a war. Yes the disgusting Hamas terrorists attacked first. But you fight back with the terrorists, not by cowardly bombing civilians and by making absurd generalizations that all the civilians in Gaza who are persecuted for ages, are terrorists. And no need to reply as the facts are all over the medias of the world.

I doubt the UN had conducted thorough investigations, so what you refer to would be the various statements tossed about. Alleged or suspected 'war crimes' are not the same as proven ones.

Treating the UN as unbiased, or as an undisputed source of wisdom is a choice. We're talking about the same UN that occasionally allows for some countries (Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria for example) to participate in and even head various UN bodies, committees, organizations, whatever dealing with human rights and disarmament.

People not agreeing with government policy is routine. In some countries they are allowed to protest, vote and so on. That's how these things work. Not every issue is decided by a general referendum.

Don't know who you think said all Gazans are terrorists. You're welcome to suggest realistic ways to combat terrorist organizations firmly embedded

within a civilian population, without said civilians getting hurt.

You do have a point as it's the UN that allowed the USA to lie to the world, invent some rubbish and Invade Irak just to steal their oil. That's how the other part of the world sees things you know. The world is a bit more then CNN-Fox News or Israel propaganda i24 cable network.

Total B.S.

This is a war.

Hamas struck first with a barbaric pogrom that reminded Jews all over the world that the sickness of antisemitism never goes away.

The Hamas ideology is to KILL ALL JEWS, and of course to crush Israel.

Yes Israel has a strong military but the side of Hamas has Hezbollah and all backed by IRAN.

Normal criticism of any country is normal.

Sadly criticism of Israel very often is quite odd -- expecting things of Israel nobody would expect of anyone else.

Nobody is saying that all people in Gaza are terrorists. Stop lying!

Israel is openly and explicitly going specific Hamas targets.

But Hamas uses human shields, expects mass civilian deaths (and doesn't care), and then uses that result for propaganda (which works quite well).

As far as persecution of all Gazans, the blame for that is in no way only on Israel. You've got Hamas itself which uses resources for war instead of infrastructure and you've got the Arab/Muslim world including Egypt that has a border with Gaza.

You can say war crimes but I don't think it's rational to label targeted attacks on legit targets as war crimes where the enemy has designed things to allow mass civilian casualties.

It's not like Russia intentionally bombing civilian targets where there is no military target.

Israel didn't ask for this war. They got it, and they have every right to defend themselves from the genocidal Hamas terrorists.

It's also a lot more than Hamas propaganda and Queers for Palestine protests too.
