Since 1979....29 years but did a spell in the Philippines just after Aquino was shot. The peso crashed and you could get 16 bottles of San Miguel for a pound.! As a friend put it...we couldn't afford to drink water. Live the quiet life in the Bangkok suburbs now.

In november 2005 I came for the first time in LOS. It was a "one or two weeks" holiday...

Since I settled in Chiang Mai; never went back to my homeland, and don't want to go back or go somewhere else.

I moved over in 1991. Left because of the economic crash, stayed in California for two years and came back here. Lasted two years here and decided that my money wasn't going to be enough. Went back to California to work for three more years until I was sure I had enough money to stay permanently. I'm not planning to leave again.
