The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) International Series Tournament returns for its latest edition, offering a prize pool of $300,000 USD, which is roughly 10 million baht, confirming Thailand’s growing status as a key destination for world-class tennis competitions. The Thailand Open, a WTA 250 event, will commence with qualifying rounds slated for January 27-28, followed by the main draw competition running from January 29 to February 4. This tournament marks the fourth occasion Arena Hua Hin will serve as the host, highlighting the region’s capacity to hold international sporting events. The Proud Group, alongside Arena Hua Hin, has been confirmed by the WTA to organize the event, which is anticipated to draw tennis enthusiasts from across Thailand and beyond.
