Khon Kaen Hosts Pioneering Aviation and Transport Industry Event

Khon Kaen has significantly elevated its status in the global arena by hosting the Air-Rail and Logistic Expo 2023, attracting national and international business stakeholders for trade discussions and showcasing Northeastern Thailand’s innovations that rival global standards.

On November 9, 2023, at 14:30, the Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the leadership of Governor Kraisorn Kongchalard, inaugurated the annual eventm reported Siam Rath.

Running from November 9-11, the expo aims to demonstrate the capabilities of the Northeastern industrial sector in aviation and transport to both domestic and international participants.

Taweesant Wichaiwong, Chairman of the Khon Kaen Industrial Council, remarked on the event's third iteration, emphasizing the region's commitment and potential in these industrial sectors.

The expo has extended invitations to entrepreneurs from Laos and China, intending to forge future business expansions and technology transfers.

Wichaiwong further noted the focus on trade, investment, and aligning with the government's policies on smart cities and soft power.

The event will also highlight Northeastern Thailand's ability to produce viable innovations such as electric tuk-tuks, airplanes, and cars, with increasing orders from both local and international markets.
