It's been close to 3 years that I signed on with WrLife and a few months after that I reported here a big claim was paid. For that I have become the prime target of --

Oh Yeah -- so who's the underwriter?

What is your country jurisdiction?

where are you going to  sue WHEN your claim is denied?

Their business plan is unsustainable

What is their A.M.Best rating

Your claim was an accident, no insurer can deny the claim

When? They called me today saying it was a misunderstanding between WRLive and AA.

Last thursday. If what you say is true then I assume I will get an email from them. Nothing seen yet ...

WrLife Claim filed Take 2

Posted February 17, 2023
I reported on this forum that I had received hip replacement surgery following a fall JAN 2022 and that the surgery was paid for in full by WrLife.

There then followed several posts by other AN Members to wit: Oh Yeah? But that was a hip fracture following an accident -- well whatabout how WrLife would cover you when there was an illness or possible pre-existing condition denial, HUH?

OK. I regularly see a urologist for PSA check and DRE. In DEC 2022 the urologist gave me a written certificate report including: Inguinal Hernia

I contacted WrLife and claim processor AIS. They requested the current report from the urologist and previous reports from the same urologist that showed no indication of hernia including a recent KUB ultrasound (Kidney-Urethra-Bladder). They also requested the insurance certificate of coverage from my previous insurer CIGNA Global.

Open inguinal surgery performed JAN 2023. Paid for in full by WrLife.

The terms and conditions should make it clear otherwise in a dispute it will never stand up, email alone means nothing, especially from a broker

From the CEO as I posted earlier

This from the Broker, I posted it earlier:

Had some email exchange with my broker and this is the bottomline according to them.

"To clarify, the changes related to coverage for specific and degenerative diseases will be implemented upon your policy renewal."

For WrLife renewal means also extension of a existing policy.

So new members are affected but also EXISTING members.
