Srettha Working On Bringing Yingluck Back Home

PRIME MINISTER SRETTHA Thavisin is desperately looking for ways and means to help one of his predecessors, namely self-exiled Yingluck Shinawatra, come home sooner or later without being literally put behind bars, a noted political activist alleged today (Nov.20).

Students’ & People’s Network For Thailand Reform leader Pichit Chaimongkol posted on his Facebook page to allege that Srettha is definitely obliged to return favours to Yingluck by finding legal loopholes, among other means, to help with the planned homecoming of Yingluck following that of her “sickly” brother/de facto Pheu Thai boss Thaksin Shinawatra a few months earlier.

The “sickly” Thaksin came back from 17 years in self-exile abroad since he was deposed in the 2006 coup and barely spent half a day at a nursing unit in the premises of Bangkok Remand Prison before being transferred to Police Hospital for “illnesses” in the middle of the night of Aug.22, hours after Srettha had been named prime minister by lawmakers at parliament.

Will she return all that money from the corrupt rice scam? Or will she run around free in Thailand in luxury without any punishment? And don't forget to put her in jail for fleeing the count

TBH with the present government, he probably can.

No doubt she will pick up a mystery illness and spend a few months in hospital before being released into the wild.

"Yingluck, ousted in the 2014 coup..."

No, she was not, she was removed from office by the Constitutional Court before the coup occurred because of her illegal actions.

How did he "steal" the elections?

He stood in free elections and won twice.

If you want to talk about election theft, try talking about the military coups, where they stole the whole country and yet, not one single solitary general has EVER been punished or even got a slap on the wrist.

How about the last election where the party with the most seats is in opposition. Did Thaksin fix that one, as well as all the other elections?

Was there any doubt this wuold happen?

You should study the facts of the case. She was sentenced in abstentia for malfeasance. She can appeal if you decide to come back. Get bail and stay out until his appeal is heard. Her case is actually less complicated than his brother.

Hurray!!  There is a God after all.

All Thaksin's daughters are here already!  And no ailments.

It hasn't happened and there is nothing, apart from an allegation of an "obligation" by an anti-Thaksin activist, to suggest that it is happening.

You are talking NONSENS!!! The Anti Corruption Commission ruled out that she had nothing todo with the corruption in the rice deal.

And will she do a deal to get her minister who carried the punishment for her (a very long jail sentence) out of jail?

He is just a grinning Cheshire cat nominee for the person who stole the election.

'...Srettha is definitely obliged to return favours to Yingluck..."

When Yingluck was PM there were a lot of rumours in the press about favours Srettha allegedly received from Yingluck.  I wonder if he is still anxious to receive more of them over 10 years later.

She can also check in at the Police General Hospital and catch up her cosmetic surgery at taxpayer expense for a few months while waiting for release.  The last time I saw her she looked very good for her age but a wee bit flat chested. The photograph above suggests the need for a light face lift.
