Recommendations for a campground in Northern Thailand?

Hi All,

I'm interested in taking my family to a campground somewhere up north where it is cold. We have a family size tent and 5 people. Not too particular about the destination, just somewhere with a nice view, quiet location and somewhere that is positioned to take advantage of the marginally cooler weather this time of year has to offer. Frost on the ground in the morning would be a really big plus. Let me be clear that I don't mean hike into the forest.  More of a psuedo glamping infrastructure, like you can find all around Khao Yai, where they charge 100 baht/person-night. It has to be somewhere that can be accessed by a 2 wheel drive car and has designated areas for pitching a tent about 3.5 x 4.5 meters and some kind of a toilet facility. Really nice to haves, but not necessarily deal breakers, would include showers and an electric outlet where we could plug in.

Looking to go for 2 nights sometime in December.

Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on a suitable location?
