There is conflicting info about it.

Buying an unit seems to be OK, like buying a condo, but what about land under commercial building?

I see many run business on the first floor and use units above for living. I'm living in one right now and I like it. I'd like to own it but the owner doesn't know how.

The same rule applies to any and all Thai land in that a farang cannot own it.

 

Maybe the owner will cooperate with creating ownership via a usufruct?
