Fast USB-A docking station.
It's gotten to the stage where having one designated USB-A charging station permanently kept in the same place is needed in our condo. There are so many items constantly being charged. Tablets, phones, S Pens, smart watches, head torch etc. Some cables seem to charge fast, some slow. I think there are 5amp and 10amp cables? I bought a new 10amp cable for maybe 150BAHT but it stopped working within 1 month despite it looking perfect. I would like to buy one USB-A charging unit that plugs into a wall socket or extension lead. I presume using an extension lead doesn't affect the charging speed? 5 or 6 USB-A ports with 1 meter long cables, or thereabouts, that charge fast. Can somebody please give me information about what kind of unit I should look at buying, in terms of wattage or amp numbers for the unit and cables please? TIA. -

Claiming UK State Pension for the First Time
If you opt for direct deposit to your Thai bank account, payments will be handled by Citicorp. You'll be paid in THB and at the mid market exchange rate, which is just about as good as you can get. There is a small fee, in my case around 120 THB. The only disadvantage is that payments can be delayed due to Thai or US public holidays. (US because Citicorp is American of course) Another option is to have your payments deposited into a Wise multi currency account and handle the transfers yourself. The overall costs will be about the same, but you won't encounter any delays due to holidays. (at least not usually) Your choice. -

4K or FHD on your tablet will not be the same on a large TV at all. It is a question of the monitor size. That's why for example Netflix charges much less on a phone or tablet in comparison to a large TV. -

The danger for the future of the world will not come from Putin or Trump. Rather the danger now is that Europe will rearm monstrously. Given the past actions of German, British and especially French leaders, a Europe where these powers are armed to the teeth does not bode well. It might embolden the Europeans to be heavily armed and seek confrontation with Russia. This is where the true danger is now, in the rearmament of Europe which sets it on a collision course with Russia. But that will be a story for another day.
