White caterpillars (?) eating away small trees (or at least the leaves)

Featured Replies

In the small trees around the garden wall we noticed heaps of small faeces under the trees. Checked it out and found quite a few white worms / caterpillars / ... (attached picture indicated in red circle) eating away all the leaves.

Any cure against these guys before they eat away all the trees?

I find it strange that they are white, and should not last  long  because they stand out against the green leaves and will get eaten by birds, Usually they are green and very hard to see,

Try spaying with a Neem oil  first as an organic solution.

It worked for me on my citrus trees, where I had the same problem.

PS: on the bottom of the picture , I noticed what looks to be a dirt nest , which is where they might have come from . Cut leaves that have nests on them and burn them.
