bingobongo
"The bill appears to create an institution or revive an old one (ISOC). That's an illusion. What it does is give lots of extra powers to the army, especially to the army chief." http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2007/07/09...on_30040054.php Edited July 19, 2007 by bingobongo
Torv
I'm not very well versed in this political stuff, but if this is true, then a drastic readjustment in Thai politics seems inevitable.
jbowman1993
I believe that this bill won't get a hearing in the NLA, until after the general election. Too much bad publicity, that will adversely affect the junta's legacy. And in the end, that is what they appear to be most concerned with now. tijnebijn
With a constitution to come they are asking the problems over themselves . I don't think it will be passed easily . The people want the one from '97 , so see what happens .
