webfact Posted December 26, 2023 Share Posted December 26, 2023 A Phuket man trying to boil up his own herbal remedy has inadvertently set his house on fire, after leaving the concoction unattended. The Phuket News reports that the blaze took hold at the home in Wichit yesterday, December 25. It’s understood the homeowner was boiling a herbal remedy that had Vaseline as one of the ingredients. He left the mixture unattended on a gas stove in the kitchen, which was behind the house. The concoction then caught fire, which quickly got out of control. The man tried to use a wet cloth to put the fire out, but was unsuccessful.
