Cheap Charlies blocked my review
I see cows everywhere I cycle, lots of moms and babies grazing the roadside verges unsupervised, some more wandering around the cropped rice paddies. This one walks by my local coffee shop with his mom every morning. -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Sounds likes the electric A/C scroll compressor running at Max cooling level and/or a really low cabin temperature. Even the BYD Atto electric A/C scroll compressor can be loud for a "few" minutes (like in above recording when) when first starting the car after its been setting in hot summer temperature/sunshine....the electric A/C compressor spins at max RPM ( which can a somewhat whining loud sound) to cool down the hot cabin as fast as possible. After getting the cabin temp cooled down the compressor spins much slower and quieter. While setting in the car it don't sound that loud at Max cooling but if standing outside the car it can sound a little loud especially since it's high pitch. -

Yes, mob mentality doesn't have to include violence, it's an emotional non thinking unit, sheep wanting a shepherd, it's very common in human culture, without it leaders couldn't rule, armies couldn't function, football stadiums would be empty, the mob mentality is needed for coherence, right or wrong that's my country, my political party, my unit, my football team, it wouldn't function if people started thinking for themselves, schools have taught individuals for decades to stop thinking and take up the mob mentality. -

Dont know why you are surprised about that, its common with 80% of Thais you deal with that product knowledge is close to zero, Ive had numerous run ins with people who know jack poo about what there selling or meant to be offering a service for, most cannot problem solve, seen 5 of them scratching there heads and talking for 10 min on a poorly fitting counter top, didnt know how to proceed witnessed that myself, thats just one example, anything more than ordering a meal can turn into a marathon event here. The point is they become very ridgid because they think they know when they dont and put you through hell cause they dont have the ability or training to think, "hey I should check I might have it wrong" -

"Climate Change" is causing the LA fires...or is it?
While it is obvious that deliberate and continual ultra large scale human endeavours like the Amazon deforestation or the draining of the Aral lake, will have severe climate change effects locally, the global impact of human causes on climate change is neglible compared with natural causes like volcano-eruptions. Look up Hunga Tonga, the underwater vulcano eruption that had a vast global impact (and which was not foreseen in the climate change models). But 'climate change' has become a buzzword and is used as an argument/excuse for many ridiculously short-sighted initiatives to guilt-talk people into compliance with changes that only benefit the agenda of those that want full control over the populaces behaviour and make a hefty profit on the so-called 'needed change'. -

Polish Tourist Arrested for Spanking Incident in Bangkok
Wait what? A simple spank on a Thai is 200,000 baht fine and jail? A french backpacker was caught recording other female backpackers in the dormitory showers up north some years ago and was given a 1400 baht fine for public indecency... Seems they really have this extremist law seeking goals as soon its a foreigner VS thai while in the exact same identical cases where it is foreigner vs foreigner, thai vs thai or thai vs foreigner, it not happens. Not justifying what the dude did but this is starting to become very obvious.
