I wouldn't call it a freak accident. It's the norm here

Thailand killing tourists again.  If its not the balcony jumps or food poisonings it's the third world electricity.

laugh at the term "influencer" too, they sure don't influence me.

Me too. What does it mean ? Who is influenced ? I think that these "influencers" on social media make money from what they say, inviting not just comments and emojis but donations too. The influenced duly oblige! Extraordinary.

I'd read it as 4 four hospitals..... not 9

Not Thailands fault at all.
The electricity come from Laos, so must be there fault.:burp:

If she hadn't come to visit Thailand this incident would not have happened. So whose fault is it then ? Hers, of course. AN readers know the drill.

A little late - that information has already been provided.

Ah well it's so sad to come in second🤣😂🤣😂

How do you know how long the power line had been down? I would however agree that the Thai authorities don't seem to do much, if anything, to stop repeats of this sort of thing.  They also have far too many overhead lines, despite beginning to sink some - its taking woefully too long and instead of making it compulsory for lines to be underground on new developments, they are still being built with power supplies overhead. I suppose joined up thinking hasn't yet arrived in Thailand.

Thank you for so violently agreeing with me🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Some of the infrastructure in Thailand is really quite good, but I've seen electrical lines in such haphazard disarray on so many occasions, I've often wondered why more people don't get electrocuted.

There was nothing freak about this accident, the only freaks here are the ones who deal with the poorly planned electrical lines.

My kid said one of his teachers got a shock, too in his classroom.

Maybe she was making a video...

"Don't do this, kids" 🫠

That is spoken like someone who has 0 followers anywhere and is full of resentment.

Unfortunate but accidents like this happen the world over

Thailand will get caned for it though

Oh aye, people get electrocuted by downed power lines every day in my city and doubtless in cities around the world lol.

That’s a surprise?

You seem to rate Thailands electrical installation's / housing keeping as on par with the world, obviously you are referring to those with third world standards.

'Influencer...'

Someone who convinces people to buy things they don't need.

Often with fake information, lies, unethical / immoral comments.

Tell me why 11 people are either confused or sad lol ???

Do they mean the accident was freak? Or the victim is freak?
Just asking.

A misleading headline. Was she working in Thailand as a dentist or was she a tourist at the time? Hanging wires are just another of Thailand's ways to make you smile, like the dripping pipes and holes in the pavement.
