Trying to cut down, but still very much loving (and addicted to) Coke. Cherry juice is also great (cherry syrup here in LoS)...Cherry Coke is my favorite drink ever, but it's not anywhere around here, had to go all the way to Taiwan to get my latest fix :D

As for alcohol...love rum based cocktails, especially Mojitos and Cuba Libres. Cuervo Gold is great for shooters and Asahi is my favorite beer here (Czech beer rulz when in Europe). A nice Merlot or Pinot Noir also does justice to any dinner :o

One to enjoy on a hot day.

1 and 1/2 oz. Bacardi Rum

One tablespoon powdered sugar or simple syrup

Two drops Angostura bitters

Club soda

Juice of 1/2 a lime

Fresh mint leaves

Place rum, lime juice and sugar in a tall glass, add mint and stir briskly...bruising the mint leaves.

Add Ice to fill glass, and stir.

Add club soda to fill glass, add two drops of bitters....stir very lightly.

Enjoy the perfect Mojito!

Who said Leo? :o Yuck.

Only beer made in Thailand worth drinking. All the rest are so sweet they could be marketted to children. (hopefully not).

Soundman.

You usually come across as such a reasonable guy, but you've now showed your true colours - a low so leo drinker.

Why don't you upgrade to the Chang? I'd be happy to sub your the extra couple of baht.

In Thailand: Long Island Iced Tea (Not available or too expensive back home)

In England: Dry white wine, specifically Pinot Grigio (Not available or too expensive in Thailand)

When not drinking alcohol (infrequent, lol) Fruit Shake, made with fruit and ice ONLY, mango or passion fruit preferably (Sadly, rarely available back home.)

They say that the 2 happiest days of owning a boat are the day you it comes into your life and the day you sell it and get rid of it. Thus, with alcohol. I remember with joy the magic of that first drink and I celebrate often the day of that last drink 12 years ago! It was a glass of red wine or two accompanied by a bit of crack in the loo of a 737 on the way to rehab! I believe it was a rather young merlot.
