Tm30-new passport
No idea what is meant by 'things being how they are' and 'what the situation is NOW'. It's your local IO in the Province where you register as residing that will process/approve a TM30 or 90 day report. Provided you update your office with any changes, such as a new passport, then you won't have any problems. In the case of a new passport, they will transfer the stamps from the old passport and change the details on their system. -

Report Thailand Chooses Swedish Gripen Jets Over US F-16s
Don't understand your post. Gripen is a modern aircraft and not available on the second hand market. Countries that buy Gripen don't do it to sell it again. They will stay in their air forces for 20 years, maybe longer. We are not talking car deals here. There is also a lease option. How much would Thailand sell their F-16 for? The only thing that old F-16's are good for is as a gift to Ukraine. But, since you obviously have done the calculation, please do enlighten us. -

My wife wanted me to sign a document any money she gets is hers!
No. Just because you tell yourself that over and over to make yourself feel better, doesn't make it true. You tell yourself that because you don't want to feel inferior. People with ego issues will tell themselves what they need to hear, rather than to face the truth. -

Recent trip to UK with Qatar air- A very sad, heartbreaking visit.
I took some visitors there the other month and there were no donations required. In Isaarn, which covers a vast area with many provinces, you have to get out there and get proactive to see what's going on. There's no Soi 6 or Nana plaza up here, and long may that continue. We do have women's bars, but they aren't in your face screaming "' Hello' hansom man " It's very peaceful and laid back where I live and if a person wants more action, there is Khonkaen, Maha Sarakham, Nakhon Panom, Buri Ram to name but a few. I have just gone 63, and I enjoy my house, the new Gym that has opened, we have a great lake in the centre of town with a running track around it and picnic areas, The lake has some very good clean hotels there at 500 baht a night, it was restaurants on the lake with live entertainment. We have the rocket festivals, there are all the other festivals throughout the year from Songkran to Loy Krathong, Roi Et airport is the gateway to be in Bangkok in an hour and the ability to fly anywhere in Asia. We live in a great climate, it's laid back. It beats Wigan OR Liverpool on a wet Wednesday!.....😁 -

Report Thai Woman Finds Abandoned Box with 12 Million Baht in Condo Waste Area
Sounds good, but remember 'This ain't no country for old women, old men or old anyone'. I'd probably toss a coin to see whether or not to keep it. -

Why more retirees in Thailand are switching to long-term health insurance
The people that moan about insurance are typically the people have never had it, or that buy $20/month policies and are shocked when they can't go to Bumrungrad every time they sneeze. I had Cigna for about ten years, I used the heck out of it, and it was great. Insurance companies are in the business of collecting premiums, not paying claims. The premiums have to significantly exceed the cost of the claims. or the insurance company goes broke.
