Has anyone been to Chattrakan Waterfall National Park recently?

We were thinking taking a road trip to the above, and were wondering if anyone has been there recently , and given the fact that it has not rained for a while if it is even worth it going there at this time of the year or should leave it for later during the wet season. 

I would appreciate any advice.

Now would be a good time if you want to get in for free. It is one of the national parks in the expat privileges which can be used until the end of February. Don't request the ticket until the day before arrival at the park because it is only valid for 24 hours.

 

I went to Sai Yok National Park yesterday and it was a nice day out but would have been really disappointed if I would have had to pay.
