Who could replace Biden ?

Recommended Posts

He is too old .

And  he made big mistakes recently .

I am afraid that Trump might win ...

Blinken could , may be , do the job ?

Or Kamala Harris ?

Need a younger one if the dems want to win .

I am not American, so maybe I should not be commenting. For whatever it is worth, I agree. Some person(s) in the Democratic party need to help or persuade Biden to find a graceful exit.   In terms of a possible replacement, no one seems to be suggesting Kamala Harris as a possible replacement.  This would be the normal alternative, and the fact that she is almost never mentioned is a huge slap in the face to her.

Blinken? That lying, warmongering, mealy-mouthed, so-called diplomat? I don't think so.

Kamala the Laughing Hyena, I don't think so.

People talk about Newsom, but far from making California Great Again he is killing it off. Many more people are leaving the state than coming to it. Soon, like Illinois, this exodus will start hitting the local tax base.

Who else? Just a bunch of woke losers that's all.

They could exhume Hillary Hillary and give her another losing run out.

Trump's the man I hope, America has no chance without Trump. Biden has driven it into the ground.

So you like a criminal as President?

Except for these 5 ex presidents:

... Jimmy Carter, 39th U.S. President.

... Bill Clinton, 42nd U.S. President.

... George W. Bush, 43rd U.S. President.

... Barack Obama, 44th U.S. President.

... Donald Trump, 45th U.S. President.

anyone of the other ex presidents could do as poorly and certainly not any worse of a job than biden ... :coffee1:

OK, now you guys list what you've done in your 70s

Not quite into my 70's yet, but I didn't spend trillions of dollars and I didn't break the southern border and allow in millions and millions of unvetted illegals with no idea who they are, their criminal histories, where they're from, what ailments they're bringing with them, or what their employment prospects are.

The effect of both of those are likely to linger for years, maybe even decades.

A realistic list but back to reality:

Biden is old BUT

He's the incumbent

He's objectively had a successful first term

The economy is in great shape even though the people don't perceive that (very low unemployment, recession avoided, stock market booming, inflation under control)

Historically no incumbent in such a position wouldn't run (and they would usually win)

Trump is on the path to be nominated and Biden beat him before

Biden has hinted he might exit if it isn't trump, but it looks like it will be trump

Yes, things could change.

Trump could be in jail.

Either candidate's health could fall apart.

But as it stands now, dream on, Biden is running.

He has been BETTER than I expected.

But.

He delivered LITTLE of what he ran on.

AND

 He ran on being TRANSITIONAL

45 sucked and should never be allowed near the levers of power again. But 46 aint no jewel in America's crown. There are better candidates out there. Get over your fear.

Why are you addressing me?

Talk to Biden.

He's running so that's who we've got against Trump.

It's beyond the time where there will be an alternative.

DId I personally ever say I wouldn't prefer an alternative?

You're living in the past.

It's very sad there's nobody.

Non "normal" sane person will not go through mean and nasty election process.

Anyone actually qualified, wouldn't bother to take that large a pay cut, and don't need to enhance their finance as most seem to do by becoming president.

Net worth before & after Presidency (source ???):

Donald Trump

Before: $3 billion

After: $2.3 billion

Barack Obama

Before: $1.3 million

After: $70 million

George W. Bush

Before: $20 million

After: $40 million

Bill Clinton

Before: $1.3 million

After: $241.5 million

George H.W. Bush

Before: $4 million

After: $23 million
