Moving a family to Pattaya from Bangkok thoughts?
I only know the tourist and nightlife areas of Pattaya; used to love the place, but I’m not as impressed anymore, especially post-covid. However, I’ve never stayed for long anyway. That said, I know plenty of expats with families who live there away from the tourist spots, work, teach, run businesses etc. The people I know are very happy with the infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and other amenities. Not difficult to keep the family and kids away from the nightlife. At least they don't see it as a big problem. For retirement, I’d personally prefer somewhere in the countryside, but for a business or working life, Pattaya seems to be a serious alternative to Bangkok , more and more a great spot offering many opportunities. -

Community Body of 65-Year-Old Man Discovered Floating Off Koh Larn
Picture courtesy of TMN A discovery was made off the coast of Koh Larn, when the body of a 65-year-old man was found floating face-down in the sea, approximately 300 metres from the shoreline. At around 12:30 on 13 June, Pol. Sub-Lt. Kriangkrai Kaewpipop, an investigating officer from Pattaya City Police Station, received a report from a local source about a body seen in the water. Marine rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene aboard speedboat 1013 to investigate. Upon arrival, rescue personnel recovered the nude body of a man showing no signs of injury or assault. He was later identified as Mr. Piyapong Piyakunchayanan, aged 65, who was known to be residing on Koh Larn. The body was brought ashore and transferred to Pattaya Pathomkhun Hospital, for temporary storage, pending an autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Police General Hospital in Bangkok. At this stage, the cause of death remains undetermined. Police have not ruled out any possibilities, and questions remain as to how the deceased came to be found unclothed in the open sea. Authorities are continuing their investigation, collecting evidence and interviewing potential witnesses to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. You change everything to suit your need to be correct... The OP was about selling merchandise.. Your initial post which complains this I rebuked saying Biden merchandise has been sold during his presidency also. You twisted that now into something more. The fact is, every president as well as anyone popular will be targets for vendors to make and sell merchandise. You only tried to twist the OP into saying Trump was doing it and how bad it was. but it is not Trumps vendors doing it... Just vendors. I pointed out that Biden had merchandise also, which you rebuked demanding proof. I gave you proof and you twisted that into something else as well. The OP says nothing about any official connection to Trump. You insinuated that and have been going on a if it is fact, which it is not. Get your facts straight. There is no need to continue this if you do not provide proof that Trump has his own vendors there selling his merchandise and that he is profiting from it.
