Chonners is right, last year was won with 755 I believe, which is 20 per week.

There were 5 of them more than 50 ahead of the rest.

I'm guessing here but I think the highest ever weekly score was 40+

Nice one for the info statto :D .

I'm guessing some of the standing records will be broken this season :o .

If 20 points a week will win you the competition then I reckon simply plugging in 1-0 (home win) for every game should do the trick. Not much fun though.

It won't though. I've done the compo by these rules for about 10 years and have tried most permutations.

The 1-0 will get you about 15 per week average.

I have won twice out of ten and come bottom half the other 8. All luck.

A few weeks of sub-ten scores will happen to most if not all of the competitors, the self-belief soon turns to the tealeaves.

:o

ps I'm enjoying the compo much more this year, wonder why....?

I might even study the form before next months preds................................................NOT!

:D

That reminded me of a statement that Architect once said to me, ' I am never late supplying information, you receive it exactly when I intended you to receive it'. :o

I did well on Saturday...but today..a disaster.

However I did predict Man C would loose , but 2-1, not 1-0

But I thought the Chelsea -Villa game would be a draw ...and I expected more from Pompey...oh well

I have to admit Tp that I have no idea what I predicted , I just sent the lot off and deleted the original forecast.

After last years many hours of poring over xl sheets I think I have developed a phobia...a bit like our 2 teams this season.... :o

It would appear business as usual, I did awful yesterday and not a sausage today!

Mid to bottom mediocrity as usual :o
