Social Media
Vladimir Putin's recent remarks regarding his interview with Tucker Carlson have sparked intrigue and shed light on the behind-the-scenes dynamics of Russian state media. Despite Carlson's efforts to impress the Russian leader during their interview, Putin expressed his disappointment, stating that he had expected a more aggressive line of questioning. Putin lamented the lack of pointed questions, which he believed would have made the interview more engaging and substantive. The interview, which was anticipated to be a major event by Russian state media, turned out to be underwhelming both in the West and in Russia. Despite Carlson's attempts to secure the interview and the high expectations surrounding it, the outcome fell short of expectations. In Russia, the interview received dismal ratings and failed to captivate audiences. Even Margarita Simonyan, head of RT and a key figure in arranging the interview, expressed initial disappointment with the outcome. She lamented Carlson's failure to bring up conservative values, which she believed would have been a strong point for both him and Putin. However, despite the disappointment, Simonyan quickly shifted her stance and praised the interview as historic and significant. Her enthusiastic endorsement, reminiscent of North Korean propaganda, contrasted with Putin's own disappointment. Now, with Putin openly expressing his dissatisfaction with the interview, it remains to be seen how Simonyan and Russian state media will respond. Will they continue to tout the interview as a success, or will they adjust their narrative to align with Putin's sentiments? Only time will tell. 16.02.24 Source

As the late Christopher Hitchens said of another trump-type loser, "He's so full of sh!t that if you gave him an enema, you could bury him in a matchbox." As for Tucker, he's always been a gutless weeny. 1 1 1 1 1
JonnyF
Carlson wasn't there to impress Putin. He was there to interview him and get millions of views. He did both. Job done. Had Putin come out and praised Carlson the Libs would have been all over it with their loony conspiracy theories. Now, they're agreeing with Putin . 3 birds, 1 stone. 2 1

Prubangboy
Love how Putin mocked him for applying to the CIA. Waiiiiiit a minute, if Tucker applied to the CIA, then Tucker is deep state, and then some. What does a Q-anon retard have left to believe in? "Trump derangement syndrome. And: Orange Man bad, amIright?. Take that, libtards. We had eight years to come with some new jokes, but we never made it past the original first two". 1

Prubangboy
Must check him out sniffing bread in a Moscow supermarket on X. To convince people that Russia is fine, just fine. Later on, at Putin's urging, he visited a tractor collective and praised their beet crop. Yankee imperialists can only dream of such root vegetable production.
