I will be extending my stay in Thailand by one month. I have a policy from the UK already and have contacted them to see if they will extend the policy but they can't and won't as most policies have to start and end in the UK.

 

Is there anything I can buy here for a short duration, to cover me in the event of any unforeseen circumstances?

World Nomads will issue a policy whilst overseas. Great coverage and great service.  I claimed for a motorcycle accident and they reimbursed me surgeon's fees of 300K baht in about 5 days.
