Suspect In Murder Of Taiwanese Man Arrested In Cambodia

CAMBODIAN police have arrested a Thai woman who together with four Taiwanese men are wanted  in the murder of another Taiwanese man whose body was found at an abandoned restaurant on Suvarnabhumi Airport road 4 on Sunday (Feb. 25) with all five having fled to the neighbouring country within hours of his death, Naewna newspaper said.

 

Deputy National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Thana Chuwong said the Cambodian authorities were able to arrest Ms. Piyanuch (surname withheld), 23, who is the owner of a red sedan in which the deceased man’s body was taken and dumped at this abandoned restaurant.

 

She is now being questioned and is believed to be the key to solving this case.

 

He confirmed that the suspects arrived in Thailand at 2 a.m. last Sunday and left at 5 a.m. but it is as yet not known whether they came here to specifically kill this man.

So is this the same woman that claimed her car was stolen?
