webber4 Posted March 4 Share Posted March 4 Hello, A friend of mine who has an Israeli passport thinks about going to Ranong for a land border run to get 30 days additional stay in Thailand: 1) Is it possible these days to do this border run (I know in Myanmar things can be unstable some times) 2) After 30 days pass, can he go to the immigration in Samui and get an additional 30 days extension? Thank you! Go to Kaw Thaung immigration which is right at the bottom tip of Myanmar, clear customs at Ranong and its a short boat ride across the water way about 15- 20 mins. Previously you could go to the Island with the Casino which was a little further but that has been shut down for some time now. I know Kiwi Orchid, there is a strong woman there that helps which is nice. do you know if after 30 days you can extend for another 30 days in immigration?
