My Dear Dummies!

People today, especially the younger generation, are becoming dumber and dumber.

Why is this?

Sure, their IQ might be higher, due to improved nutation and better health, over generations, but they are now more ignorant.

Is this a good thing for governments of today?

The more ignorant a population, the more likely a government is to remain in power, which is a great thing for the CPC, and for Trump, after he is re-elected.

Why are people so ignorant, these days?

For one thing, curiosity has been suppressed, and there might be many reasons for this.

Are YOU a dummy?

Do you ENJOY being a dummy?

IF you are above the age of 65, then you are NOT a dummy, obviously.

But, if you are below the age of 40, then the term DUMMY probably applies to you.

Ignorance is your name, in other words.

Probably you don't even know how to open and fix a wrist watch, for example.

Such Ignorance!

The world has not known since.....before the establishment of the Roman Empire.

Still, might it be a good thing for society that we are now breeding a new generation of docile ignoramuses?

Personally, I cannot stand ignorant people.

What about YOU?

Regards,

Gamma

Note:  The younger generations of ignoramuses might actually be good for society.  They no not what to do.  They are more docile.  And, they soak up whatever propaganda is pushed their way.

They have no due diligence in study or in practice..... Coupled with no social skills....

They take whatever programming that is shoveled at them as gospel & live on a very shallow level.....

It's precisely true, the government wants a dumbed down, zombie like population to control (one reason they allow recreational marijuana in many places).....

Prescient thinkers are  trampled & shouted down by a tsunami of programmed lemmings..... Courtesy of the social media's task masters....

It is not only the younger generation, that is getting more ignorant.

The availability if information, (google etc) has created a mental laziness, but at the same time also a deficit of dots to connect in your mind.

As Donald Rumsfeld former United States Secretary of Defense used to famously say

There are known , knowns.  (things you know)

there are Known unknowns  (things you know you don't know)

and there are Unknown unknowns . (thing you don't know you don't know

And that's where ignorance finds a fertile ground.

When considering something you use the information you have in your brain to connect the dots.

and you research the things you know you don't know.

But there is no way you can consider things you don't even know exist.

As I said this instant availability of information creates a mental laziness that traps people in the first two conditions. There is no substitute for  general education because when you read a book, you learn things you did not know you did not know.

I'd rather be ignorant than  arrogant.
