In a classic case of deception, the duo managed to dupe Carlson into interviewing a fake whistleblower who claimed to have insider information about the controversial edited photo of Kate Middleton.

 

 

Archie Manners, posing as a former digital content creator for Kensington Palace, spun a tale of being fired for his poor editing skills, which led to the botched alteration of the Mother's Day image. With forged employment documents in hand, including a ludicrous clause about limb amputation, Manners successfully convinced Carlson's team of the legitimacy of his story.

 

Carlson, known for his provocative and controversial style, welcomed Manners onto his show, seemingly oblivious to the ruse. Despite the embarrassment of being fooled, Carlson's team seemed satisfied with the interview, indicating their intention to air it.

 

Manners admitted to playing on Carlson's ego by suggesting that mainstream media in the UK wouldn't touch the story, thus giving Carlson the exclusive. This stroke of manipulation further highlights the gullibility of even seasoned journalists when presented with a convincing narrative.

 

Josh & Archie are no strangers to pulling off elaborate pranks, with a track record that includes tricking other notable figures like Carole Baskin and Katie Hopkins. A good percentage of Carlson's interviews are fake. The difference with this one is the Carlson was not aware he was being duped. The other ones he's the one duping the MAGA rubes.
