He was sick as a dog for the first 48hrs of his sentence then he seemed to perk up a bit 🤔

He quickly deteriorated as he was moved from his seat on his private jet.

The jangeling of keys in locks can have that dramatic effect 🤔

with the Army pulling all the strings,

Not obvious that that's still the case.

eg If the gay marriage change gets thru the Senate, that would suggest the Army is no longer breathing heavily in the backgound. Or maybe at least holding its breath ...

It's the Thai air; he has risked further 'illness' by going to Chiang Mai.

Of course he hasn't been ill, this entire thing has been staged, and it's has been created only for the most naive amongst us. The vast majority understand exactly what's been going on, a deal was cut between the Army and PT to allow the Army to steal the election and install PT as the non-democratically appointed administrator, with the Army pulling all the strings, again. And in exchange Toxic Thaksin was given total immunity. It's likely a deal was also cut for his daughter, and it's just a matter of time until she returns.

The "tell."  The dude's "weak-heart" is in his neck.  🤔 Hummm.

Every minuet detail of his show and dance return was crafted and agreed upon

well before he boarded the plane, and one can safely assume that some big names

were in on this circus act that unashamedly was played  in front of the nation,

and now, the charade continues...

Agreed. I attribute this as the result of overthrowing an elected government by military coup. Understand, this does not address if there were valid reasons for charges being brought but rather, the result of the use of a military coup as a means of dealing with an elected government. Yep, one can infer that I think this same thinking can/will be applied to the military coup overthrowing the Yingluck elected government. Bottom line ... up to Thai citizens ... I am just an interested expat retiree residing in Thailand.

I think it goes a lot higher than that. That very, vast, income of 'His' could have suffered criticism, had Pita not been ousted.
