Upon investigation, police recovered a fruit knife, presumed to be the weapon, and collected evidence and witness statements for further inquiry.

Hotel staff revealed that the altercation stemmed from a previous argument in a nightclub. The confrontation escalated outside the hotel, leading to the stabbing. However, intervention from a foreign man prevented further escalation.

Thai trans stabs friend in Soi 11 in Bangkok (video)

A Thai transwoman stabbed her transgender friend outside a hotel on Soi Sukhumvit 11 in Bangkok in the early hours of this morning. The victim’s friend said the two were previously close friends.

Officers from Lumpini Police Station and Ruan Katayu Rescue Foundation rushed to the stabbing scene at about 4am today, March 29. The transgender victim, 27 year old Affan, was found with a severe injury to her arm and wrist. She lost a lot of blood and was rushed to the Police General Hospital.

Police discovered the knife used in the crime at the scene but the attacker vanished. A staff member of the hotel told police that the situation would have escalated if a foreign witness had not intervened because many transwomen were involved in the altercation.

A hotel staff member added that he saw the two ladyboys engaged in a heated argument in an entertainment venue near the hotel. The attacker was armed with a knife while the victim fought with her bare hands.

Affan’s friend, 26 year old Wan, visited Lumpini Police Station on the day to file a complaint against the attacker on behalf of her friend.

Wan stated that the conflict and attack broke out between the two of them and no one else was involved. Wan revealed that the two were good friends and close with one another. She did not know what the motive was for their argument.

Wan added that Affan insisted on proceeding with legal steps to the fullest extent because she might be unable to use her injured hand like before.

Officers are now conducting a close investigation into the case and plan to summon the attacker for questioning.

Another clash of transwomen in Sukhumvit Soi 11 made headlines at the beginning of this month when nearly 2,000 Thai ladyboys physically assaulted Filipina ladyboys outside a hotel.

The altercation broke out after a group of Filipina ladyboys attacked some Thais and stole their belongings. This incident was shared on social media, prompting a group of Thai ladyboys to gather to take revenge.

I think in Soi 9 there are a couple BJ bars. Enjoy and relax.

And Soi 13 is relative quiet. Some harmless pool players and German beer drinkers.

What an idiot.

Risking himself for a couple of lowlifes having a fight.

It wouldn't be me, ESPECIALLY with recent anti-farang campaigns.

No chance.

Is it just me or does it seem like the quality of the tourists coming to Thailand continues to drop rather precipitously? I noticed this trend starting even long before covid, but it seems to be very stark these days.

Two thai men, stabbed each other, they are however ladyboys. Women is the wrong wording here.

Agree, maybe it's just more of them coming to Thailand with mental illness.

I hope Thailand can solve this problem, it's alarming.

In the early 1980s I rented the last house before the klong on Soi 11. The soi was a delight in those days.

Ah,

So that's where the bandages came from.

My honey came home too late and too tired to tell me what happened, and was off to work quite early.

Holy <deleted>...

Statement like that can only be made by someone who feels superior.  Anyone reading this guy's all-to-frequent posts will know that is definitely not the case.

I love how he starts with "Is it just me...".  Desperately searching for others who also feel superior, to confirm their joint superiority.

Pardon me...  Would you have any Grey Poupon?  But, of course...

Are we feeling easily triggered at the moment? I have a couple of brands of laxative I could recommend, they really work wonders for ones mood.

Well I think as Thailand continues to attract lower and lower quality tourists, these problems will likely continue as that's the nature of some of the people that are coming here. Lowlifes and dregs.

You're not refuting my statement in any way.  I must have hit the nail on the head.

That you have experience with laxatives is also not surprising.
