I agree racism still exists but I don't believe it only goes one way anymore. You said it's good to see people "take responsibility for history." Responsibility for what? My great-grandparents came to the U.S. in the 1920s. They had nothing to do with slavery or what happened to Native Americans, Mexico or any other US history. Why should I be blamed for things that happened before my family even got here? We're living in 2026 not 1826, therefore we should deal with today's problems and not blame people today for what someone else did generations ago! Now, if a school or company picks someone because of their skin color instead of their grades, experience or qualifications that's racism too. The law is supposed to be the same for everyone. People should be judged by their actions, character, hard work and qualifications, not the color of their skin. You don't fix racism by treating people differently because of their race. You fix it by treating everyone equally. let me ask you this. What can I legally do as a white guy that a Black, Asian, Hispanic or Middle Eastern person can't? What law says I get one year in prison but they get two? What law gives me more rights because I'm white?
