Thai TikTok users have praised an American man, Rick Brown, living in Pattaya, for his charitable act of giving out helmets to children. Brown, 57, plans to donate a million helmets across Thailand to enhance children's safety.

Bangkok police officer seriously wounded in unexpected knife attack

A heated argument in Bangkok ended with a police officer being violently attacked, suffering severe head injuries after his efforts to calm the situation failed. The officer was hit on the head with a bread knife in what can be described as a fit of blind rage.

Live stream captures fatal pickup truck accident

A fatal car accident in Thailand was unexpectedly broadcasted live when a pickup driver was livestreaming his journey on April 30. The driver's identity has not yet been disclosed. He lost control of his vehicle when a tire suddenly burst, resulting in his death at the crash site. The man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Stray Dogs in Lampang Struggling With Intense Heat

In Lampang, temperatures have crossed an intolerable 40 degrees Celsius. This is causing distress to the 400 stray dogs taking refuge at Wat Weluwanaram. The temple’s abbot, Vichai Akkadecho, has stepped in to alleviate their suffering, given that the heatwave has lasted close to a month.
