Labour will publish their manifesto when Sunak stops hiding from the electorate and announce the General Election.

The electorate will then get sight of Labour’s actual electoral promises.

You’ll not then have to imagine what they are.

Let me guess, tax the rich and more crumbs do the poor.

Newsworthy? Really?

Maybe that's why he did it, to get himself in the news,  and ya all fell for it.

Because nothing makes a politician look so good as being ignorant of the contents of a bill he pushed for. A masterstroke by Johnson!

Were they lying? Oh dear.

All politicians lie!

You have to find the ones that you think may be lying the least!

It seems Starmer would disagree.

He has said "the people have spoken". The people have "made their minds up".

No manifesto but people have already decided. From the horses mouth. 🐎. As apposed to, from an internet troll's mouth.

Back at the personal insults I see.

That you don’t understand the part manifestos play in elections and feel the need to invent promises in place of manifestos is clear.

Now you stray into your failure to understand how an opposition party leader might put pressure on a PM to call an election that he, the PM and his party, are clearly afraid of.

Another Rorschach comment.

It will be very interesting to see what each party’s manifesto contains and which wins the support of the electorate.

And which bits of the "manifesto" they actually try to implement!

No insults at all. Facts. Not insults.

It seems Starmer is the one who doesn't understand the need for manifestos. He's got the victory in the bag already, so he says and says and says and says and says.

Just a suggestion.

Do you have evidence to suggest other reasons as to why he did it?

Such a fanboy.

Johnson has not disputed the reporting  that he forgot to bring his card.

Talking up the stunning wins to put pressure on the already anxious Tories.

It’s a good political play and already getting results.

Braverman throwing Sunak under the bus, Tory anxiety being used against them.

PMQ this week is going to be unmissable, though I wouldn’t put it past Sunak to skip out of it.

No. Talking up having won the next election without having released a manifesto.

To think PMQs is "unmissable" is sad.

Wow. And so a new religion is born. What is being worshipped is the Magic Manifesto without which an election is unwinnable even against a political party that is now thoroughly and widely detested.

That's what Chomper thinks.

No.

I asked if you had evidence as to what Boris was thinking. Why he did it?

Only the person doing the thinking, if any, can tell you what they were thinking!

It seems the wholly understandable and undoubtedly increasing Tory anxiety  has infected at least some of their supporters.

There are certainly a few notable absences from this thread.
