Hi all

 

Anyone know what is the best option to do Visa Run from Bangkok. 

Any links be useful.  I know of going to Udon Thani and going across friendship bridge but is that the best option?

 

I am on my 2nd TR and closing on the end of my 90 day TR (with extension)

Flight to Udon Thani is an option.

I like the joint.

An alternative from Bangkok is to mix in trip to Pattaya and bounce to Cambodia using agent.

Slightly off topic but a bit of info from my trip to last week. Laos immigration are still being a bit creative with their 'weekend fees' Entering Laos via the bridge at Chiang Khong (evisa) there was a 50B 'stamping fee' and the bus over the bridge was 30B not the 20B stated on the ticket. Leaving to get to Nong Khai the 'stamping fee' was 10k Kip. No big deal and not sure if everyone was charged but just have some small change. I wasn't bothered if these charges were legit or not.

do you want a visa run ie getting a visa from a Thai consulate/Embassy, or a border hop/bounce ie obtaining a fresh visa exempt entry, 2 allowed by land crossing per calendar year

Sorry, i was looking at border bounce.  No issues, i found a company that does it for 3500baht to go to Cambodia and back
