Two local women based in Chon Buri, Thailand, have raised serious concerns about the municipal government's handling of stray dogs. School teacher, Busaba Channon, and resident Ubon Homejuangjang claim multiple dogs they cared for were sedated and subsequently deserted in forested areas. Netiporn Sanesangkhom, widely known by her activist name 'Bung Thalu Wang,' tragically passed away this morning, aged 28. Since January, the brave campaigner has been on a hunger strike - a silent but potent cry for justice. Tragically, her heart ceased beating; a poignant and untimely end to a protest against the conditions of political prisoners in Thailand.
