Did you have a condo fire last night?

Seems that overnight Pattaya fire and rescue services have been busy, following the earlier incident at Royal Gardens.
 

At 03:30 a.m, 17 May, there were reports of a fire in a condo in South Pattaya. Responders evacuated the residents of the condo, and the fire was extinguished, with it being mostly contained to one unit, which appears to have suffered extensive damage.

There were no reports of injuries or deaths.

 

Wonder if anyone is staying at or near this complex.

Sorry, not sure, as I have seen reports possibly of 2 condo fires in this area last night. From the Thai reports it is unclear if the 2 reported fires are the same incident, so I will not repeat the condo name given in those reports, until I see it confirmed, or if someone saw the fire

The report I read named the condo as The Edge, room 158, started by electrical fault in the A/C unit.

Sorry that is definitely not The Edge.

 

The Edge did have a fire in A/C unit, this year on 17 March, so you maybe looking at an older report.

Seems there was only one fire and it was in the Wat Chai Mongkol area, and would appear to be the Pattaya Tai Center Condo, with the fire being on the 12 floor.

Probably, as there was another report from a similar incident from about the same time last year.......maybe it is an annual event......

No it was not The Edge, as I posted above. The fire at The Edge occurred in March, this year

 

This fire was in the Pattaya Tai Center Condo complex, 12 floor.
