The body of a young woman, likely a university student, was discovered semi-naked and with knife wounds to her neck under an expressway in Pathum Thani's Muang district on Wednesday morning.

Thongdaeng Bonsungnern, a 49-year-old garage owner, first spotted a man on a motorcycle presumably abandoning something under the Udon Ratthaya expressway around 5 in the morning. The man attempted to camouflage it with grass and garbage bags from nearby, then rode off. He later returned, and when questioned by Bonsungnern about what he disposed of, he replied, "I threw a loved thing here." Bonsungnern managed to snap a photo of the man, who was under 30 and wore glasses, leaving the scene at about 5.40 am.

Bonsungnern's wife later noticed the dumped items and found what seemed like a human foot amid the waste. She promptly alerted the authorities.

Police arrived at the scene, accompanied by rescue workers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation. They discovered the murdered woman's body, semi-naked and wrapped in a bedsheet, hidden amongst the trash. She was wearing a Rajabhat University belt. The gruesome scene was filmed by the head of the rescue team and posted on his Facebook page, Nakon45 Anyawut Pho-amphai.

According to police, bloodstains were found around the body. Forensic officers should have samples to analyze soon. Unfortunately, the woman’s identity remains unknown.

Pol Maj Atchara Kratueng-ngarn, the investigation chief at Pak Klong Rangsit police station, reported the murder to the police around 8.15 am. The victim was estimated to be between 20 to 25 years old, with her wrists severed and a 3 kg dumbbell under her left armpit. A 2 kg pendulum weight was also found near her legs.

Authorities believe she was killed between six to eight hours before her body was discovered. The body has been transported to the hospital for a post-mortem examination, and police are continuing their investigation.

Teenager attempts suicide after murdering his girlfriend

2019-07-cover-suicide_tcm7-258230.jpg

A teenager's attempt to take his own life was unsuccessful yesterday. This came after he murdered and dismembered his 18-year-old girlfriend, discarding her body under a motorway in Pathum Thani, a province in central Thailand.

The gruesome discovery of a naked, handless body was made under the Udon Ratthaya motorway. The victim was identified as 18-year old Waranya, who was referred to as Ming Ming. She recently graduated high school and was pursuing her higher studies at Phranakhon Rajabhat University.

Ming Ming shared a home with her boyfriend, Thanakorn, nicknamed Sand, who also was 18 years old. Their home was 6 to 7 kilometres from where Ming Ming's body was found. A witness claimed they saw a man, thought to be Sand, abandoning the lifeless body at the crime scene.

After examining security footage and conducting thorough investigations, police confirmed that Sand was the perpetrator of the heinous crime. Once this was official, officers intervened to arrest him.

Upon raiding Sand's home, police found him unconscious. His elder brother urged the police to rush him to the hospital as Sand had taken an overdose of pills in a suicide attempt. He was immediately rushed to Krung Siam St.Carlos Medical Centre and is currently stable.

Inspecting the crime scene further, officers discovered bloodstains in the second-floor bedroom and bathroom of the house. Additionally, a butcher's knife and cutting board were found in the bathroom.

Sand lived in the residence with his elder brother and sister-in-law. According to the brother, he heard Sand and Ming Ming argue around 2 am on June 5. Since everything was quiet afterwards, they did not expect any violence had occurred.

The brother revealed that Sand and Ming Ming were high school sweethearts and had been together for approximately three years. Ming Ming played a significant role in Sand's life, especially in helping him finish high school.

Reports from ThaiRath indicated that Sand has been treated for mental health issues for over a year. At the age of 16, Sand was also accused of sexually assaulting children under 15 in 2022.

Once Sand recovers from his suicide attempt, he will be questioned by the police, who suspect jealousy as his motive for the murder. Meanwhile, the severed hands of the victim are yet to be found.

Thai national media reported on June 5, 2024, about the latest developments in a brutal murder case of an 18-year-old female student from Pathum Thani. The police discovered the victim, whose public identity is Ms. Waranya, near a roadway under the Udon Ratthaya Expressway in Mueang Pathum Thani. Her body was hidden in a bush, partially wrapped in a bedsheet, and her legs were noticeable among garbage bags.

The prime suspect of the murder investigation is her 18-year-old boyfriend, publicly known as Mr. Thanakorn. He was caught shortly after the murder while trying to commit suicide by overdosing on pills at his residence. He is currently receiving medical attention and is reportedly stable.

As per police reports, Thanakorn's older brother informed them that the suspect and the victim had been in a relationship for three years. They had a serious argument around 2 AM on the day of the incident, whose details are not made public yet. Thanakorn was seen leaving the house by a local around 5 AM.

Their investigation revealed that Thanakorn has a history of mental health issues for which he had been receiving treatment for over a year. He also has a criminal record dating back to 2022, involving accusations of inappropriate behaviour and physical assault on a minor under 15. This case is currently under investigation.

Teenage killer’s violent rape and Satanic belief uncovered - video

2012-2024-06-07T113819.jpg

A Thai mother revealed that the teenage killer who recently murdered his girlfriend in Pathum Thani had previously assaulted and raped her daughter when she was 13 years old and harboured a bizarre belief in Satan.

The 18 year old murderer, Thanakorn, also known as Sand, was arrested yesterday, June 6, after killing his 18 year old girlfriend, Waranya, also known as Ming Ming, in a house in Pathum Thani province. The murder came to light when the deceased’s body was found under the motorway with no hands.

Several news agencies reported that Thanakorn had a history of mental illness and had previously assaulted and raped a young girl in 2022.

Following the report, the mother of the 13 year old girl who fell victim to Thanakorn came forward in an interview with Channel 7 yesterday to tell the public about his cruel actions. She also accused the deceased, Waranya, of being involved in the incident.

The mother explained that her 13 year old daughter met Thanakorn and Waranya while she was working as a part-time vendor at Chatuchot intersection in Bangkok’s Saimai district.

The mother claimed that Thanakorn believed in Satan and even invited her daughter to join his cult but she warned her daughter to stay away. She also saw Thanakorn sharing pictures and videos of himself performing Satanic rituals on his social media account.

According to the mother, her daughter’s mobile phone was broken, so Waranya offered to sell her phone to the girl for 800 baht. The girl agreed to buy the phone in instalments and paid Waranya 300 baht initially.

Murder victim allegedly involved

However, the girl did not have a chance to meet Waranya again because she quit her part-time job. This prompted Waranya to contact the girl online to ask for the remaining 500 baht.

The mother said that she found out about the phone problem after the rape.

The mother went on to reveal that the incident took place on December 30. Waranya lured her daughter to meet her in a car park near her condominium, saying she had a job for the girl and she could earn money to pay off the phone debt.

Security camera footage showed the girl waiting for Waranya in the car park at around 11pm when Thanakorn arrived on his motorbike. He immediately approached the girl, punched her in the face, and pushed her into a public park out of the camera’s range.

According to the mother, Thanakorn raped the girl while Waranya watched from nearby. Thanakorn then attempted to take the girl away on his motorcycle to murder her, but she managed to escape and sought help from people nearby.

The mother disclosed that she filed a complaint at Kannayao Police Station and sought help from Saimai Survive. Thanakorn was the only person charged while Waranya was considered a witness. The first court hearing took place on May 20, and the second was scheduled for August 28.

Victim’s life damaged

The mother revealed that she and her daughter experienced mental health issues following the incident. Her daughter couldn’t return to school and has remained at home since. She also blamed herself for the recklessness that led to her daughter’s ordeal.

Additionally, the mother mentioned that her daughter developed a fever and experienced panic after seeing news reports about Thanakorn and Waranya on television.

In the latest case, Thanakorn was hospitalised after attempting suicide. He was later transferred to Pak Khlong Rangsit last night after his condition was stable. Thanakorn reportedly fainted when he arrived at the police station and police were unable to question him.

Thanakorn is now being held at the police station and his family brought him food and necessities today. However, Thanakorn is not touching the food and continues to lie face down in the prison.

Pathum Thani: Severed hands of teen girl found in plastic bag

c1_2806359_240606201052_790.jpg

In a gruesome discovery, police yesterday found what they believe to be the severed hands of an 18 year old girl, allegedly murdered by her boyfriend earlier this week.

The chilling case began to unfold on Wednesday when Ranya Saensuriwong’s body was discovered beneath an elevated expressway in the Mueang district of Pathum Thani. Wrapped in a bedsheet and bound with black belts, the body bore slash wounds to the neck, and both hands had been severed at the wrists.

The investigation took a grim turn when police found a black plastic bag near the Chiang Rak canal, about 4 kilometres from where the body was found. Inside the bag were the severed hands, a lock of long hair, women’s clothes, towels, snacks, and baby wipes. These items have been sent for further inspection.

The victim’s boyfriend, 18 year old Thanakorn Eiamlaor, who is believed to be the prime suspect, was detained shortly after the discovery of Ranya’s body. Initially uncooperative, Thanakorn eventually confessed to discarding the hands, leading police and rescue workers to the canal.

Security camera footage played a crucial role in the investigation. A source close to the case revealed that Thanakorn was caught on tape riding a motorcycle to the canal, where he was seen disposing of a black plastic bag.

Thanakorn’s father informed the police that his son had been taking prescribed medication for a mental illness diagnosed two years ago, reported Bangkok Post.

The suspect was apprehended at a housing estate while attempting to overdose on pills, adding another layer of complexity to this tragic case.
