In Kamphaeng Phet, a troubling situation has developed involving four children. It is alleged that two 12-year-old girls enticed a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl into doing inappropriate things and filmed them. They offered the younger kids sweets and toys in exchange.

The Kamphaeng Phet Complaints Facebook page disclosed the incident. They revealed that the older girls tricked the younger ones into behaving inappropriately, and they caught these actions on camera. The video inadvertently spread across their village, causing huge distress to the involved families.

It is said that this incident happened in a local school located in the Trai Trung sub-district. The victims' families sought help from the aforementioned Facebook page when they felt the girls' parents were not accepting accountability for their children's deeds. The page's administrator, 1st Sergeant Prajakrit Saithip, guided these families to file a complaint at the Kamphaeng Phet City Police Station.

The families narrated that the 7-year-old boy, Nong Kim, and 5-year-old girl, Nong Cream, go to the same school and live in the same residential area in Mu 8 (Ban Pak Dong), Trai Trung. Both children are in the custody of their relatives due to their parents' employment in different places. The older girls, one known as Manow and her friend, also reside nearby.

The older girls are believed to have misled Kim and Cream to an isolated place in a neighboring village (Mu 10, Ban Koh E Saew), where they coerced them into undressing and acting inappropriately, while recording them. The younger children were promised sweets and Barbie dolls in return, but reportedly never received them.

After the video somehow got exposed, it was viewed extensively within the village leading to embarrassment for the families. One of the young victims' aunts expressed her worry. She mentioned that this has happened three times already, and she wants the older girls' parents to take responsibility for their children's behavior, which seems to be ignored.

The aunt requested assistance from the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security or other relevant parties to ensure the children's safety. She suggested moving the children to a different school, where she would supervise them, to avoid further episodes. She particularly expressed safety concerns for the young girl since her parents are separated and she lives with her father and relatives. Similarly, the boy also lives with his father's family due to his parents being separated.

Sgt. Prajakrit acknowledged the complaint and stressed the need for parental intervention and accountability. He appealed to anyone who has the video to delete it and not share it further, warning of potential legal consequences. He also expressed his concern for the children's well-being.

And what did the police do when they were informed and shown the video? Did the reporter ask? A waste of time to do that I guess, as we all know what the answer would be.

It says in the article that the small children's carers are being guided in the process of making a complaint. What do you expect the police to do? Perhaps arrest 2 12 year old girls and throw them in prison? Or perhaps arrest the parents and throw them in prison?

Are you saying that no law has been broken so nothing needs to be done? Just forget about it? The parents who deny any responsibility go unpunished? And if it was your kids who were the victims? What then?

What are you prattling on about? Do you think that 12 year old children should be imprisoned? The police are investigating the parents of the offending children are being investigated. Why would you want to send them to prison because their 12 year old daughters made 2 other children strip naked? It's bullying by the girls but certainly not an offence that warrants prison for the parents. Investigation by the Thai social services is warranted and if necessary the 12 year old girls taken into care. However such investigations are a complex minefield in any country and take time to resolve especially when no physical harm has been done

You are suggesting that I wrote that the parents should be jailed. Perhaps you could point out where I wrote that, as I can't find it. You made that up.

And she never thought to report it. What has happened to the new 'Domestic Abuse Force' that was supposed to have been set up and lauded in the press ?

They are probably watching it over and over again and shared it with everyone of their colleagues.
