Police raid finds underage patrons at Boston Rangsit in Pathum Thani

Pak Khlong Rangsit police, supported by relevant agencies, conducted a raid at 1am yesterday on an entertainment venue in Mueang Pathum Thani. The establishment, known as Boston Rangsit, was found to be violating several regulations, including serving patrons under 20 years old.

 

During the operation, police performed drug tests and checked ID cards. Over 81 individuals were discovered to be underage, but no illicit substances or illegal items were uncovered.

 

The venue’s owner, whose identity remains undisclosed, faces multiple charges. These include operating an entertainment service without legal permission, selling alcoholic beverages beyond permitted hours, and serving alcohol to minors. The owner was taken to Pak Khlong Rangsit police station for further legal proceedings.

Thai Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the media following the raid, highlighting the severity of the violations. He indicated that the establishment might face a five-year closure under the jurisdiction of the Pathum Thani Governor. Anutin assured the public of stringent legal enforcement against those who breach regulations, reported The Pattaya News.

In related news, police conducted a significant raid on the Nasa club in Mueang, Chon Buri at 1.30pm on June 15. More than 150 officers from various agencies participated in the operation, aiming to curb illegal activities at the venue.

 

Upon their arrival, officers encountered a bustling crowd enjoying the nightlife. As the police presence became evident, many patrons attempted to flee and dispose of illicit substances, resulting in packages of drugs being found on the ground and in the toilets.

 

The Nasa club reportedly served food and alcoholic beverages without valid operating licenses, a clear violation of local regulations. During the raid, one individual was arrested on a narcotics warrant, while eight others were detained for distributing illicit substances. Additionally, 105 people tested positive for drugs, and one individual was found to be under the age of 18
