Tourist Visa In Hongkong

Featured Replies

Hello everyone!

I am planning to get a single-tourist-visa in HK next week.

Whats the recent situation over there?

Do they require a "out of thailand" ticket? - and if yes, they require a ticket within the next 2 month or within 3 month (after 2 month i will apply for a further month in bangkok - so is it ok to show them a ticket beginning november???)

Any tips for a the best way to get a refundable air-ticket?

Thanks for any help!

Best regards

You will need an ongoing ticket to get your visa.I have a one year ticket HK-BKK-HK which I showed to them and they gave me the visa though I did mention to them that I will change my outgoing ticket. If you want to get a refundable ticket it might be cheaper buying a cheap ticket to Penang or KL and not using it as I think most airlines have a 2000 baht fee if you refund your ticket, though maybe someone else could advise you on this.
