Marathon traffic patterns

What morons in the city government thought up the traffic patterns for todays Marathon. Why do they shut down the entirety of 2nd road thru india town and stop traffic from crossing Thappraya road thereby effectively blocking off Pratumnak hill?

I agree, they are stupid, they can block off the roads easy enough but they can't give alternative routes, too difficult.

 

It was bad enough for me trying to cycle to meeting point, those trying to get to work must have been angry
