A CHINESE man holidaying in Pattaya who fell from a songthaew passenger vehicle early this morning (July 22) later died from his injuries after being rushed to a hospital, TV Channel 7 and Amarin TV said.

BANGKOK - A young cannabis seller turned himself in to the police after fatally stabbing a Burmese painter in the neck and chest. The altercation started because the painter walked in front of the seller's motorcycle without apologizing and then insulted him.

Thai police refute claims of substandard bulletproof vests

A family in Bangkok is seeking justice following the death of a man who initially was mistaken for being drunk when he was actually suffering from a stroke. The man was held for suspected drunk driving by the police, delaying his medical treatment and eventually leading to his death.

Six Police Officers Hurt in Thailand Roadside Bomb Blast

Six police officers were injured when a roadside bomb exploded in Pattani, southern Thailand, causing the military to issue a public advisory asking drivers to be careful. On July 23rd, 2024, at 9:30 AM, the recently selected 200 member Senate met for the first time at Parliament. The meeting was held to elect the Senate President and two Vice Presidents. The most senior member, the temporary chairman Police Lieutenant General Yutthana Thaipakdee, managed the process. He laid out the agenda for their first meeting, invited all senators to swear in, and discussed the process for nominations and elections. Senator Mongkol Surasajja, a past governor of Buri Ram, was nominated for the Senate President position by General Kriangkrai Srirak. Following his nomination, Dr. Premsak Piayura and Ms. Nanthana Nanthawaropas were also recommended for the role.
